In 2021, the Omani Karate Federation extended an official invitation to Shihan Hisham Baqer to conduct an intensive Aikido seminar for practitioners of various martial arts in Muscat, Oman. The seminar was held at the Sultan Qaboos Sports Complex in the capital, Muscat, and attracted over 100 participants.

Shihan Hisham Baqer expressed special gratitude to Shihan Ahmed Al-Zakwani, the General Coordinator of the seminar, for his exceptional efforts in organizing the event. The program included technical workshops, theoretical lectures, and practical demonstrations, where Shihan Hisham and his accompanying trainers from Kuwait showcased their expertise in Aikido.
